Ash's Goings Ons

It's a little blog about what's up with me.

Graduation means eating out.

Yesterday was my first graduation ceremony, lavender graduation. It was really fun, more than I'm expecting from the other ceremonies. Actually for The Big One, it's supposed to rain and there are warnings on our gowns that they cannot get wet. Dre thinks that they will bleed black dye onto our clothes. I think they will dissolve. It looks like we'll see on Saturday. It might make the thing more entertaining. As for today, it is econ graduation. This one should be good because I will get to see all my professors and whatnot.
What I have learned in four years of schooling, of course, includes a thing or two about economics, history, math, etc. but the most practical thing is this: graduation is a time of much eating of good food. So many people are just champing at the bit, dying, to take everyone out to eat at fancy pants restaurants. For me, this means eating a lot of delicious fish. So far, I've had catfish and halibut. Today, I'll be going out to two seafood places - one with Dre's mom and one with my family. Yes! Let's just hope that I don't get tired of fish (I doubt this will happen).
In other news Carolyn, my friend who is subletting my place, has moved in. This means that we're having sleepovers for a little while and that the room is chock full of our stuff. Our two person apt now houses four people. Oh, and our friend Jaya is going to stay over for a night, too. Our bathroom is still rather tiny, but I think that it will be a-okay. Maybe if we keep increasing the population density in here I can finally find someone to play Boggle with me.
