Tropical Day
The local food co-op had tropical day today, and I GOT RAMBUTANS!!! Yay! More yay!
I fell in love with rambutans while I was working in Hawai'i. They are so wacky looking and totally awesome. The meat is somewhat table grape-like in texture and taste. They don't have the turgidity of grapes, though, so they are smoother to eat. In conclusion, they are simply badical.

I am so jealous!!!! Those were the bestest!! When I was in Hawaii I bought them every time I saw them.
